Day 3 Finishing Stuff
Day 3
Today I thought about the level design. I started placing specific decorations at different places to create memorable Locations for the player. Now I have a Forest, a Ruine/Strukture plane, a GreyRock field and a Bone Valley. And to Center everything I set a Spaceship in the sky with a Blue traktorbeam like light shining down to the base, to indicate where the base is from everywhere around the map.
Advice: Try to make Landscapes memorable. If you have a Bigger world you will feel lost if you can t recognice the parts in there. Set some Landmarks so you and the Player can orientate better!
Now I created a new enemie, to get more varriatey in and played around with the balancing of the Numbers. I also added in a Upgrade System, if you have to many resources you could now buy some upgrades that will make you run faster, add more resources each drill and makes towers and you stronger. Also The player and the Base can be healed now.
Last two things: I added a simple Tutorial into the Game, and set up a Mainscreen to play the Game properly.
I had a little Break of 3h and finished the Game now.
I added in a EnemyList to show how many Enemies are on the way. Then I made the Kills Count up and added a Goal for the player to achieve.
Last but not Least I made a EndingScreen and tweekt the balancing of the enemies alittle more.
